“Our goal is to enable this historic landmark to better serve the public and become a regional destination that fuels our local economy with new business and tourism.
This plan will preserve the historical significance of the Emerson Park Pavilion even as it is transformed into a year-round destination venue that brings enhanced economic and social value to Cayuga County.
This project is a first for our foundation. Not only is this the first public-private partnership for us, but the scale of investment involved is unprecedented for our foundation.
We want to see the Pavilion become a much more viable asset for Emerson Park and the community as a whole.”
Anthony D. Franceschelli, President Fred L. Emerson Foundation

Be sure to visit the "Images" section of this website to see the photos taken throughout the restoration of the Pavilion, from Groundbreaking in May 2011 through Ribbon-Cutting in June 2012.
Numerous events have already been held at the newly restored Pavilion since June 1st, and more are being booked every week. Why not let the folks at H&J Hospitality help plan your next special event, meeting or celebration at the Pavilion? The Pavilion is now a year-round, full-service facility with flexible spaces for gatherings of all sizes.
Members of the community, the Fred L. Emerson Foundation, and Cayuga County officials gathered on Sunday, June 10, 2012 for the Dedication & Centennial Celebration to recognize, honor, and celebrate the newly restored Pavilion at Emerson Park. And we could not have asked for a more beautiful day!
